Dr. Susan Sandmann-Uy
Dr. Sandmann-Uy graduated from St. Louis University Medical School in Baguio City, Philippines. She completed her family practice residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. After practicing medicine in Ohio for 3 years she and her family moved to Arizona to be close to family.
Lisa graduated PA school at AT University and her first six years in practice were in Casa Grande doing Family Medicine at a rural health clinic, where she was able to serve families who otherwise didn't have access to health care.
In 2011, Lisa became the first mid-level provider in Arizona certified as a NaPro Medical Consultant and Creighton Model Practitioner. These certifications allow her to give advanced care to women with infertility and other hormonal abnormalities. She is very passionate about Women's Health and believes that empowering couples through education on fertility and their bodies is one of the keys to good health.
Kristina Danovich is our nurse manager at Aid to Women Center. She also teaches family planning to women who desire to avoid or space out pregnancies. Kristina has prior hospital work experience with moms and their babies on the postpartum unit at Maryvale Hospital, as well as outpatient OB/GYN experience at Life Choices Women's Clinic. She received her BSN from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. After she graduated, she moved back to Tempe and has been working in the Valley since.
Wendy worked in Labor and Delivery and high risk obstetrics for more than 15 years before coming to Aid to Women Center. She is a Child Birth Educator and certified in Lactation education, fetal monitoring and limited OB ultrasound. Along with nurse duties Wendy helps run our support group at Aid to Women Center. She has worked with post-abortive women and men for more than 16 years.
Meri Beth Faulk
Meri Beth graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She became a volunteer nurse for Aid to Women Center in 2010 and began as a staff member in 2012.
Christina graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from University of North Florida. She has prior hospital work and home care experience. She also has a variety of volunteer experience working with the young and old, both in the hospital setting as well as working with various private organizations. Christina volunteers as a nurse in medical and is a facilitator of Parenting Prep.
Dr. Joseph Mott
Dr. Joseph Mott received his MD at University of Colorado. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, W.B. Cherny, Chairman, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Mott has over 40 years of experience in both general surgery and OB Gyn. He served in the United States Army Medical Corp and has worked as a surgical assistant in OB/GYN at Desert Samaritan/Banner Desert for the past 17 years.
Cindy is the office manager, and helps out with both front-and back-office support. She received her Associates Degree from Riverside Community College in Early Childhood Education. She is fluent in Spanish and assists with our Spanish lessons for the Parenting Prep Program that is offered.
Katrina is the Outreach Coordinator at Aid to Women Center. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Arizona State University, and is responsible for fundraising and maintaining donor relationships.
Education and Volunteer Coordinator
Stephanie is the Volunteer Coordinator and is responsible for the Parenting Prep Program that is offered through Aid to Women Center. She also helps out with office support. Stephanie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Arizona State University.
Joe Kendra is the Executive Director at Aid to Women Center in Tempe. His background includes over 30 years in Marketing at such companies as Pizza Hut, 20th Century Fox and Long John Silvers. Joe was the head of marketing at Cold Stone Creamery and instrumental in creating and growing the brand. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with an MBA in marketing.
